Mahi tahi taste test

On Thursday 29 of August 2019 our class and tui and te Kahu went out for Mahi tahi the task was a tastiest we got into a group of four and we got two blindfolds there were 12 ingredients. We had to try one person would guess the other person would taste and two people would write down what they tasted. At the end Mrs dromgool would say the answers for one ingredient right you get one point our team got 10 points.

Platypus

Intro 
The platypus is a monotreme which means they are a mammal that lay eggs.they are the only
monotreme that can swim and hunt underwater another monotreme is the Echidna they are the only
other egg-laying mammals.
Appearance
the Platypus contribute to uniqueness it has a built like a duck and tall like a beaver it has fur like a bear
it has webbed feet and claws. All males have a spur on its ankle and it can kill you in one sting.
Diet 
 The platypus has an incredible 6th sense of electroreception
that is similar to the sixth sense of sharks. They use electroreception within the
skin of their bills to detect the electrical field that gets generated when their prey moves its muscles.
To help cash worms, insects, larvae, freshwater shrimp and freshwater yabbies and crayfish.
Habitat
 platypus live in Australia and make burrows in the side of fact they lay eggs and feed their
young milk until they can fend for themselves. platypus are the only monotreme that can swim
underwater in some rare cases their borrowed can collapse on them or the water  level can rise up
and flood their burrows.you can find platypus in creeks and river in the outback Lagoons, farm dams
and streams most platypus found in the bodies of water
